Matragos Fruit S.A packages and exports high quality apricots to all countries within Europe.

After their harvest Apricots are transported directly to the modern Matragos Fruit S.A packaging house, where the sorting and packaging takes place and from where they are shipped across Europe, depending on the needs of each client.

The apricot is a sweet fruit, very tasty, with a nice aroma. Spherical in shape and moderate in size, it possesses a distinctive grooved seam and is quite hard to the touch. Its skin is thin and velvety, with a yellow-orange color.

The apricot seed is quite large and woody, it is located in the center of the fruit and within it it contains few smaller bitter tasting seeds used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Apricots are nutritional treasures for our health. Their consumption is recommended for children who experience developmental delays, but also during recovery from childhood illnesses because they are rich in vitamins (A, C, B1, B2), iron, fiber and natural sugars, offering multiple benefits to our body.
